A estrutura ter\u00e1 34 metros de comprimento e 8,8 metros de largura, ampliando a seguran\u00e7a e facilitando o deslocamento de moradores, produtores e motoristas que utilizam a via diariamente.<\/p>\n<p>O investimento estimado \u00e9 de R$ 5 milh\u00f5es, segundo o Governo de Minas. A assinatura da ordem de in\u00edcio aconteceu nesta segunda-feira (18\/5), na cidade de Munhoz, com a presen\u00e7a de autoridades e comunidade. A ponte fica na MG-460, no bairro rural do Corrente.<\/p>\n<p>Ap\u00f3s a ordem assinada, ser\u00e1 elaborada a etapa de projetos executivos para, posteriormente, o in\u00edcio da constru\u00e7\u00e3o. O prazo estimado para conclus\u00e3o \u00e9 de 540 dias.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m de Toledo e Munhoz, a iniciativa tamb\u00e9m deve beneficiar moradores de Bueno Brand\u00e3o, Extrema, Itapeva e Senador Amaral, al\u00e9m das cidades paulistas de Pedra Bela e Socorro, que v\u00e3o se beneficiar com a estrada, que tem liga\u00e7\u00e3o com a rodovia Fern\u00e3o Dias. Hoje, muitos ve\u00edculos precisam dar uma grande volta pela cidade de Socorro, principalmente \u00f4nibus e caminh\u00f5es, que n\u00e3o conseguem passar pela ponte estreita.<\/p>\n<p>Para Diogo Santiago, diretor-presidente da EPR no N\u00facleo Minas Estadual, as entregas refletem uma atua\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9cnica e estruturada. De acordo com ele, <em>\u201catuamos na corre\u00e7\u00e3o definitiva de pontos sens\u00edveis, elevando o padr\u00e3o da rodovia e reduzindo riscos. A ponte tem passagem para apenas um ve\u00edculo por vez, o que deixa o local ainda mais perigoso.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo os bombeiros, um caminh\u00e3o que transportava mudas descia na frente, em dire\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 ponte, com duas pessoas. O motorista ouviu buzinas. Pelo retrovisor, o motorista viu o caminh\u00e3o que vinha atr\u00e1s piscar o farol. Ele jogou o ve\u00edculo para o acostamento para dar passagem.<\/p>\n<p>A suspeita, segundo os militares, era que o caminh\u00e3o de tr\u00e1s teria perdido o freio. Ele estava h\u00e1 cerca de 70 metros de dist\u00e2ncia, mas bateu no caminh\u00e3o da frente e depois, na ponte. Com o impacto da batida, o caminh\u00e3o da frente caiu no rio.<\/p>\n<p>Na \u00e9poca, a Prefeitura de Munhoz chegou a interditar a ponte por tempo indeterminado. Engenheiros da Defesa Civil avaliaram as condi\u00e7\u00f5es da estrutura da ponte e as equipes do DER-MG tamb\u00e9m estiveram no local para fazer vistorias.
